Tikitrade Chrome Extension Guide
Welcome! This guide will help you install the Tikitrade Chrome Extension and get started with lightning-fast alert delivery from TradingView to your trading app.
What is This Extension?
The Tikitrade Extension bridges TradingView and your Tikitrade app, delivering trading alerts instantly β often in under 10 milliseconds. It monitors your TradingView alerts and relays them directly to the Tikitrade app running in your browser, bypassing slower webhook infrastructure for near-instant trade execution.
What You’ll Get
Once installed, the extension works silently in the background, providing you with:
β¨ Instant Alert Delivery β Alerts reach your trading app in a fraction of the time compared to traditional webhooks
π― Automatic Detection β Just create alerts in TradingView as usual; the extension handles everything else
π Connected Services β See at a glance which services are active and connected
π Smart Tab Management β Quick access to TradingView, Tikitrade, and Tradovate tabs
π Privacy First β All processing happens locally in your browser; no external servers see your alerts

What Happens Next?
With the extension installed and verified, you’re all set! Here’s what your typical workflow looks like:
- Open TradingView in one tab (extension monitors for alerts)
- Open Tikitrade app in another tab (receives alerts from extension)
- Create alerts in TradingView as usual with JSON messages
- Alerts fire β Extension catches them instantly
- Tikitrade app receives them in milliseconds
- Your strategy executes with minimal latency
You can close the extension popup β it continues working in the background. Check the popup anytime to see service status or recent alerts.
Privacy & Security
Your alerts never leave your browser. The extension works entirely locally:
- Alerts are captured from TradingView’s Log (not intercepted from network traffic)
- Messages are passed directly between browser tabs
- No external servers receive your alert data
- The extension cannot access your TradingView credentials or Tradovate account
The only network activity is checking for extension updates from our hosting (ext.tiki.trade).
What’s Next?
You’re ready to trade! The extension is now your silent partner, ensuring alerts reach your trading app the instant they fire.
Pro Tips:
- Keep both TradingView and Tikitrade tabs open while trading
- Use the extension popup’s “Alerts” tab to verify alert formatting
- Pin the extension icon for quick status checks
- If you switch between multiple TradingView charts, the extension monitors all of them
